Dear Santa . . .
. . . . I’ve been a very good girl this year!
No really!!!!
One of the reasons I hesitated to give up my dinosaur blackberry and move to a smarter phone was the lack of a keyboard. I had become so proficient at thumb-typing on the blackberry, knocking out texts or emails in a flash. I found trying to type on the screen slow and cumbersome. Of course, I should also mention I have (very) long nails which get in the way of touch screen typing. For my birthday last year, our daughter bought me a Kindle Fire since I love to read. This gave me my first real experience with touch-screen typing and I was quickly able to move to a Galaxy smartphone!
This morning I came across an awesome bit of technology offered exclusively by Brookstone. A virtual keyboard! About the size of a pager, the device connects to your tablet, llaptop or smartphone through bluetooth or USB and projects a laser keyboard onto any flat surface. You simply type away with a rechargeable battery that can last up to two hours at a time. How cool is that!
The cost is very affordable at only $99 and the high demand has temporarily halted new orders. The first shipments will happen the first week of December and, hopefully, they will be available for everyone in time for Christmas.
So Santa - if you're listening reading this, you better hurry!!!
Cyndi
