A few days ago I was on my way to meet some buyer clients looking at homes in Hiawassee, Georgia. Of course, the camera is never out of reach when I’m riding (or driving) and I was able to get this beautiful shot of the fog that was covering the mountains like a cozy down blanket. You’ll be happy to know that I actually pulled off to the side of the road (WAY off) so that I could take my time and get a good shot.

If you've ever wondered why they call them the Blue Ridge Mountains, this should answer that for you. Although I’m still learning what all the buttons and adjustments are for I am totally enjoying my new camera . Thank you Santa!
Hope you had a great weekend!

Bill and Cyndi,
Nice shot with your new camera. Good luck using it. :)

Hi Bill & Cyndi, Great picture and yes you are so right; the mountain ridge is blue. I am from Tennesse and the Smokey Mountains are a smokey color too. Your picture is lovely and I like how the clouds hug the tops.
Cyndi, I knew as soon as I read the title there would be a fantastic photo! Thanx for sharing! And thanx for staying safe while taking the pic!
Steve - Thank you. I am totally loving it!!!
Kristin - It is amazing how blue the mountains look!!
Peg - I am glad I didn't disappoint you then! Sometimes I do snap a picture while driving but only if there's no traffic and I HAVE to get the shot right then. Otherwise, I'll pull off to the side and take my time.
Happy Monday All!
Cyndi
Bill that is an awesome photo of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thanks for sharing.
Connie - Thank you! It's like being on vacation ever day here!

Bill and Cyndi,
Congratulations. This post is now featured on "Speechless Sundays." :)

Hi Bill and Cyndi, Very nice. What kind of camera did Santa bring you? I head he was sort of partial to Canon, so I bought my own, LOL.
Steve - Thank you for that feature - what a wonderful compliment!
William - Nikon D5100!! Of course - Santa had lots of help making sure he knew just what to get!

Great shot of the mountains. I have driven there, and was so amazed at how blue they are in the distance!
Beautiful pic, Bill and Cyndi! We use to see shots like this of Mount Rainier when we lived in the Seattle area. Sooooo pretty.
Great shot. Now I know why they're called the Blue Ridge Mountians. ;)
