Views From The Mountains: One More Day and the Madness Will Be Over!!

One More Day and the Madness Will Be Over!!

Election Day

One more day and the madness will be over!  In case you have been visiting another planet for the last six months Tuesday, November 6th is election day.   I am proud to be an American and exercise my right to vote, but I wish we didn’t have to endure so many commercials, phone calls and other campaign “stuff”!

If you have not taken advantage of Early Voting and will be hitting the polls tomorrow, make sure your vote is counted by going to the Campaign Mailcorrect precinct to vote.  If you live in North Carolina and are not sure where to vote, visit FIND MY PRECINCT.  Type in the required information and it will give you the name and address of your polling place.

Regardless of your choice of candidates, make sure  your voice is heard: get out and vote.

CarpoolingWhile you’re at it, why not check on one of your neighbors who might need a ride and make sure they get the chance to vote as well.

Best wishes to all the candidates!

Bill & Cyndi,

I could not agree with you more but I can clearly see our current president requesting the eastern seaboard states having extended time to vote due to the recent "Super-Storm". I would venture to say this could be in the news  for 30 days or more. As we elder folk would like to deny the fact that society has breached reality on some issues it is none the less true.

All the best and say hi to "Chad"! lol

Patrick - I agree that the eastern seaboard may very well drag this one out somewhat.  I did hear last night that those in New Jersey can vote at any precinct.  That should be interesting!
